These reusable Banff tea infusers are an easy way to brew loose teas. The mesh ball infuser is decorated with a tea cup ornament (Styles may vary).
The tea ball was the accepted method of brewing tea in the mid-19th century. They were made in all shapes and crafted by well-known silversmiths, making them an art form. Unfortunately they didn’t catch all the tea leaves, hence the use of mesh in today’s infusers.
The attached figure is for decoration only and should hang on the outside of your cup or teapot. Do not immerse the figure in your drink.
