In 1987, a pair of trousers was found in the attic of Montgomery's Inn, balled up and stuffed into a hole. This artifact was lovingly restored and a pattern was made based on this garment so that they can be reproduced. The trousers feature front pockets, a watch pocket, a gusset for adjusting the waistline, and a flap in the front held up by two buttons. Many historic sites in Canada and the United States now use the Montgomery's Inn trouser pattern for period costumes.

This pattern is for a size 36 and instructions and historical notes are included.
