The CN Tower at sunset earrings are a wonderful combination of traditional and modern. The intricate design is hand-beaded on a traditional loom and showcases the CN at sunset in both matte and metallic lined seed beads.  Tammy double stitches her earrings for durability; earring hooks are white gold plated and nickel free.

About the Artist

Tammy Beers, owner of Neon Birch Works, is a contemporary Indigenous (Anishinaabe) designer and member of Rama First Nation.  Rama First Nation is one of the First Nations who fought at the battle of Fort York.  We are fortunate to be able to showcase her work at the Toronto History Museums Shop.
Her growing brand includes a great deal of loom beadwork.  She has developed her own exclusive method of securing her beadwork that creates a durable, lightweight product. She draws inspiration primarily from Anishinaabe culture, nature, city life, fashion, and art deco design.
