This expertly crafted feather box is made from aromatic cedar and features a sliding lid. The bottom of the inside is lined with red felt to hold its contents in place. Felt pads on the bottom of the box protect your table tops and prevents wear and tear on the wood. This one of a kind feather box is hand painted and pyrography detail of a bear with clouds in the background and two medicine wheels.
Cedar is a natural bug repellant making this box a great way to keep your feathers protected.

About the Artist
Clarence Roy is Anishinaabe from Wikwemikong (Wiky) First Nation. Clarence is a self-taught artist and wood worker. His passion for wood working keeps him busy as he creates a variety of items including furniture, cabinets, medicine and feather boxes. He is an active member of the urban Indigenous community here in Toronto and currently works at Na-Me-Res.
Clarence has lived with his wife in Toronto for 40 years. He has one daughter and enjoys sharing stories, laughing and socializing.
